We researched proper techniques, took classes on organic turf management, and partnered with some of the best people in the field to develop a lawn care program that is based on soil enrichment. We use the best Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) certified or USDA listed organic products that are made in the USA. We buy these products in bulk to keep costs down and pass those savings on to our customers. In fact, in most cases we can fertilize your lawn cheaper than you can do it yourself. Fertilization is the only way to provide the soil with enough nutrients to feed grass and other plants. Our service is so reasonably priced that in most cases we can do this for you for less than you can do it yourself. Q: What happens to lawns that don't get fertilized?A: Unfertilized lawns will have dull looking, listless grass that is nutrient poor. Unhealthy grass attracts the insects that break it down further. Dead patches and bare areas will get weeds to rebuild the soil (weeds are natures way of rebuilding poor soil). Improper pH will also impede nutrient uptake and plants like clover will get a strong foot hold on the lawn.If grass is mowed regularly and clippings are left on the lawn when it is cut that can provide 15 - 20% of a lawns yearly nitrogen needs.
